2 weeks of letters

Dear family, this week went by really fast. It was good though. We had a great lesson with Reza on Sunday. He loved it. We talked about the Godhead and the Atonement, the spirit was very strong. It is very cool being a missionary, and really I am not speaking it is the spirit. The town of Allen is OK the work is a lot more slow and the members are very different, but I have a good companion and we are working hard. On Saturday we did yard work for some friends of Sister Barber. They do not want us to teach them, but are very nice to us and we get to work outside.

Thank you dad for the money, it was perfect, I had to buy some new pants. Please tell grandma I got her letter, momma Holm brought it to me. My address is   301 S. Jupiter Rd Allen TX 75002

That is crazy Amanda is moving out. I am sure she will enjoy it. This morning we went mountain biking it was fun. There is this old guy in one of the wards that kept asking us to go, not a whole lot else is going on.

I just want y'all to know how much I love this gospel. It means everything to me and it is the only way to be happy forever. I know the Book of Mormon is true and it brings me closer to my Savior every time I read it.
I love y'all so much. Hope y'all have an awesome week! Love Elder Kershaw

WEEK of September 1st

Dear mom and family, this week was good... kind of a trunky week. Elder Ludlow got his flight plans for going home and Christina came home. Oh well, I am trying to stay focused. We are working very hard. Reza is progressing well. He loves coming to church and having us come over to teach him. We are working on building his faith in Christ.

The sister that txted you is Sister Barber. She was baptised almost a year and a half ago she is super nice.

Today momma Holm came and picked us up. I am at her house emailing and spending labor day here in Mckinney. It is good to be back in Mckinney. It is such a nice place.  Momma Holm is bbqing ribs, they are so good. I am very blessed to have her so close,it really is my home away from home and it helps me get through the hard times. It is not cooling off major here... it is just out of the hundreds which is nice. It cools off in the evenings though.

That is cool all the trees are picked up and you got to go to Christina's homecoming. It sounds like she had a great mission. I love yall so much. Have a great week, love Elder Kershaw
