memorable week

Dear Mom, Oh what a week. On Thursday, some missionaries from Durrant Oklahoma (which is in our mission) drove to our area and stayed with us. On Friday we had our last meeting with President Durrant. He is now released and serving as the 2nd Counselor in the General Sunday School Presidency. Our new mission President is Brian Taylor from Bountiful, Utah.

On Saturday some people that Elder Peterson had taught in his last area took us to the Mesquite Roundup. Their son is a bull rider. It was not just a small rodeo, it is one of the biggest rodeos in Texas. It was so much fun. I got my rodeo fix for the summer! On Sunday we had dinner with the Smith family who own a Porsche. They gave us a ride home in it, So Cool!
As far as teaching we  have five new investigators. What a fun week, one that I definitely wont forget.  Oh by the way, Sister Holm, aka Momma Holm is coming to Idaho to visit her daughter in Eagle this week. She is bringing a tote of things that I don't want to carry around anymore. I gave her your phone number and our address and she wants to drive out and see y'all. You can open the tote and look at the stuff I sent home. Just be careful, there is some stuff that investigators and different people have given me.

I love y'all so much, Love, Elder Kershaw
