Last week's letter...

Dear Family, it has been a very stressful week, but also a wonderful one. The good news is we found two new investigators to teach. One is a members daughter that has not been baptized, she is about 40 and has had a rough life with drugs and other things. But she needs the gospel, she is awesome and super solid! At church Sunday, we had a guy that has not come for awhile at church. He invited us to his house to teach his friend that lives in the upstairs of his barn. He is a cool guy that has also been through a lot. After a divorce, he was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and survived. He is awesome and loves us teaching him the gospel.. I have seen a lot of blessings this week.
It has been a little tough also, my companion and I are not really getting along, but I try to have patience. Oh, well, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger, :) I threw that in for Amanda... I know she likes that song!
Today when we were walking into the library we met this crazy man... he said he was an angel. He was a little weird, he tried to bible bash with us, but I held my ground. I just found out that next Wednesday we get to drive to Fort Worth to see Elder Neil Anderson. of the twelve. This will be my second time to meet one of the 12 apostles, I love shaking their hand.
I am doing good. I feel like I have built back a lot of the members trust and I love this area and being a missionary. Transfers are in two weeks, I hope I get a new companion, I think I will.
Tell Melissa congrats on her baptism, I bet it was really neat. I love y'all so much!
Love always, Elder Kershaw
P.S. I got my package, it was perfect, Thanks!
